Twelve companies apply for the PTK Privatization transaction advisor post

Prishtina, 10 January 2012 – The Government PTK Privatization Committee informed that the expressions of interest phase for the prequalification of companies for the PTK privatization transaction advisor services has concluded.

The companies applying for prequalification are presented below, as per the sequence of their bid submission to the Ministry of Economic Development.

The large number of companies that have expressed interest on this process and their global reputation provide for a highly competitive process, and the latter provides for an adequate transaction advisor for this very significant process.

The transaction advisors are tasked to support the Government PTK Privatization Committee, to promote the company to potential investors, present sales documents and propose necessary company restructuring prior to its privatization.
The call for prequalification was issued by the Ministry of Economic Development on 29 November 2011, pursuant to the authorizations provided by the Government PTK Privatization Committee.

Eligible companies will be invited to bid, after a thorough analysis of company eligibility, in accordance with the call for expression of interest.
