The meeting of the Inter-ministerial Commission for Public Enterprises is held

Prishtina, 04.05.2022 – Today was held the meeting of the Inter-ministerial Commission for Public Enterprises, led by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo, Artane Rizvanolli. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, the Minister of Regional Development, Frikrim Damka, and the Deputy Minister of Economy, Mentor Arifaj.

During the meeting, four items of the agenda were reviewed and approved, which included:

Approval of the request of the Public Enterprise “Infrakos” for the implementation of the “Green Corridor” in cooperation with the Manifesta (European Nomadic Biennial of Contemporary Art), which will hold its 14th edition in Prishtina. This Green Corridor includes an urban intervention in order to promote green mobility and the transformation of the unused segment of the railway tracks into a green walking track, thus achieving the revitalization of public space.

Approval of the request of the Public Enterprise “Trainkos”, for the possibility of borrowing (using) the asset of this enterprise, the non-functional locomotive, for the Cultural Round Table “Round House Europe” in Augsburg, Germany, where the historical “Ambassador Locomotives” from countries of Europe will be presented.

Approval of the 2020 Annual Performance Report for Public Enterprises, which will be forwarded to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

As well as the approval of the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the provision of two trucks by RWC Gjakova to the Emergency Management Agency, namely the Kosovo firefighters, to serve the general public interest.
