The Deputy Minister of ME, Mentor Arifaj hosted in a meeting the Hungarian delegation for economy and trade

 Prishtina, 16 September 2021 – The Deputy Minister of Economy (ME), Mentor Arifaj, hosted in a meeting the Economic and Commercial Attaché with the Embassy of Hungary in Kosovo, Krisztina Szabó, the Director of Budapest Water Supply in Hungary, Tamas Bencze, the International Water Supply Advisor in Budapest, Viola Saliasi and Mirdita Bicaj, from the Economic Sector, the Embassy of Hungary in Kosovo.

 
During this meeting it was discussed about the agreement with Hungary on the loan granted to our country, and its utilisation for projects in the water sector.

 
The Deputy Minister Arifaj and representatives from the Embassy of Hungary in Kosovo discussed about the relations between the two countries and international agreements of Kosovo with Hungary. The Deputy Minister Arifaj promised that projects funded by the Hungarian government in the water sector will be implemented according to the agreements reached between Kosovo and Hungary.

 
The Deputy Minister Arifaj also expressed his gratitude to the Hungarian delegation for its continued support in vital projects for the welfare of citizens.

 

“We are committed to the implementation of concrete projects, and continue the cooperation with Hungary in the areas covered by the Ministry of Economy, which are of particular importance to our country, especially water supply projects”, said Deputy Minister Arifaj.
