The application period for financial support of central and local public enterprises is now open

Prishtina, 11.10.2021 – Ministry of Economy (ME) informs central and local public enterprises that they can apply to benefit from economic support.

According to the Economic Recovery Package for 2021, public enterprises in financial distress due to COVID-19 will benefit Measure 4.6 “Support to public enterprises in the amount of 30 million Euros”. In order to provide liquidity to cover operating expenses, public enterprises are offered interest-free loans. 20 million euros in total (second tranche) are allocated from this measure for public enterprises.

The program is designed to help central and local public enterprises providing services, which have been affected by the pandemic.

You can apply in person at Archive of ME, namely at the Policy and Monitoring Unit of Public Enterprises (PMUPE).

The application deadline is until the end of October 2021.
