Prishtinë, 18.11.2016 – “Equality and gender representation should not only be protected through quotas, this issue should be a part all projects so that the potential and values of women are treated equally”, declared Minister of Economic Development Blerand Stavileci at the opening of  the Regional Conference entitled, “Achievements and Challenges of Gender Equality Policies in Kosovo”, within auspices of the cross border cooperation program with the Republic of Macedonia, supported by the European Union.

In this occasion Minister Stavileci said that, women are part of positive developments that should be included in the most ambitious project for the country, “We have many proven cases that due to their potential and values, women were the architects of successes of our country”, said Minister Stavileci, by adding that the country should not be a hostage of quotas but it should support the values that women represent.
