Pristina, 08.03.2024 – Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Liza Gashi, received in a meeting the Director of Business Development of MASDAR Company from Abu Dhabi, Ahmed Al Awadi, and the Senior Development Manager, Serkan Atta.

Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Rizvanolli presented investment opportunities in Kosovo in building new capacities in renewable energy sources, including those planned through investment packages, which envisage the construction of 950 MW of wind and solar energy, as well as storage capacities, which are expected to reach an investment value of 1.2 billion euros.

These capacities began with the first solar auction of 100 MW, the bidding process of which was successfully completed during the month of January.
