Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Rizvanolli met with the EBRD President Renaud Basso

Prishtina, 13.04.2022 – Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, and Minister of Finance, Labor, and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, hosted in a meeting President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud Basso.

In the meeting they discussed about the cooperation between the Kosovo Government and the EBRD, and special attention was paid to the ongoing projects supported by the EBRD.

The meeting also involved discussions on the new Energy Strategy, which is heading towards its finalization, and the country’s potential for generation of electricity from renewable sources.

President Basso stated that the EBRD is interested in doing even more in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, further development of infrastructure, as well as in supporting the private sector in Kosovo.
