Pilot Project “Women in ICT” expanded in the regional level

Prishtina, 03.02.2017 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Besa Zogaj – Gashi, met with Milena Harito, Minister of Innovation and Public Administration in Albania, to discuss on possibilities of implementing the project Women in ICT in the regional level.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister Besa Zogaj – Gashi informed Minister Harito on the pilot project Women in ICT, implemented in Kosovo, which resulted in many girls finding jobs.

From her part, Minister Milena Harito appreciated MED for the initiative in this project, and expressed her readiness to implement the same project in Albania.

In addition, both parties agreed to hold in the coming months a Regional Conference “Women in ICT”, in order to raise the awareness for employment opportunities of women’s employ,ent in ICT.
