Prishtina, 22 September 2023 – The Ministry of Economy announced today the Public Call for Efficient Heating Devices Subsidy for houses and apartments, funded by the European Union (EU).

The measures presented today by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, and Alessandro Bianciardi from the EU Office in Kosovo, aim to support residential consumers, especially those in need, in investing in the installation of efficient heating devices, including:

Heat pump;

Efficient air-conditions (inverter air-to-air heat pump);

Biomass (wood, pellet, briquette) boilers;

Individual biomass stoves.

The subsidy amount for one heat pump device is thirty percent (30%) of the investment value, or up to €2,000.00.

For air conditioners (high-efficiency inverter air-to-air heat pumps), the subsidy amount for one device is forty percent (40%) of the investment value, or up to €400.00. For single parents, sixty percent (60%) of the investment value, or up to €550.00.  For citizens under social assistance scheme (categories I & II), sixty percent (60%) of the investment value, or up to €550.00.

For biomass (wood, pellet, briquette) boiler, seventy percent (70%) of the investment value, or up to €1,200.00.

Meanwhile, the subsidy for one (1) individual biomass stove is seventy percent (70%) of the investment value, or up to €435.00.

For single parents, ninety percent (90%) of the investment value, or up to €560.00. For citizens under social assistance scheme (categories I & II), ninety percent (90%) of the investment value, or up to €560.00.

Devices purchased before the announcement date of the Call shall not be subsidized.

The application deadline is sixty (60) calendar days from the opening day of the Call, namely until 22 November 2023.

Those who have previously benefited from subsidies for the purchase of efficient heating devices under Public Call No. 02/2022, dated 06 October 2022, or Public Call No. 03/2022, dated 18 November 2022, are not eligible to apply for subsidies for heating devices under this Call.
