Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems interested on TPP ‘Kosova e Re’

Prishtina, 07.12.2017 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka met the Vice-President of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Takayuki Maeda, who visited to declare the company’s interest on Thermal Power Plant “Kosova e Re”.

Minister Lluka informed representatives of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems on the processes the project is undergoing, adding that the Government is interested to have participation of globally renowned companies in the competition to develop the thermal power plant.

To date, interest on the project was shown by General Electric (US), Mitsubishi Hitachi (Japan), Siemens (Germany) and Doosan (Korea), and this is important because increased interest will result in better offers for the country! The country will continue to promote this project.
