Mitrovica, 05.02.2024 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, together with Deputy Ministers Getoar Mjeku and Nenad Stanojević, and Deputy Arjeta Fejza, visited the Trepça Enterprise and the Stan Tërg Mine today.

Minister Rizvanolli emphasized that in Horizon X, they met with Fisnik, Naser, and their colleagues who work in mineral extraction, maintenance of old equipment, and added that it was a unique experience to speak with them closely and experience the challenging work environment, which is a daily routine for miners, but it was also inspiring to see their willingness and dedication to work.

Along with the Chairwoman of the Board, Rrezarta Pllana, CEO Bashkim Kurti, and Director of Unit Shyqri Sadiku, we assured them that the planned investments in Trepça, equipment and working tools, as well as safety and protection equipment for the miners will be a priority. Despite the challenges, Trepça needs us all to work together united for the good of the enterprise, to bring Trepça to where it deserves to be, as the axis of economic and social development of Mitrovica and the entire region”, Minister Rizvanolli assessed.

She thanked the Board of the Trepça Enterprise for their tireless work, wished success to the new management, and extended her gratitude to all those who contributed during this challenging period for the enterprise.
