Sofia, 06.04.2022 – The Kosovar and Bulgarian ICT Businesses Matchmaking Event took place today at the Tech Park in Sofia, which was attended by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo, Artane Rizvanolli.

This event was organized by the project “EU Support for the Competitiveness of Kosovo’s ICT Sector”, a project funded by the European Union (EU).

The event is attended by Kosovo’s ICT companies, which will have the opportunity to meet with companies of the same field from Bulgaria.

During the visit to the Tech Park, Minister Rizvanolli presented to the businesses of both countries the work that is being done in this sector, including; digital infrastructure, digital skills, regional cooperation, competitive and innovative spaces for the ICT businesses as well as digitalization of the public sector and businesses.

During the meetings between businesses, Minister Rizvanolli also met with some of the representatives of both countries, who further strengthened the conviction that Kosovo and Bulgaria have excellent space and opportunities for cooperation in the ICT sector.

It was emphasized that this visit is only the first step towards cooperation in the ICT sector from which both countries will benefit and develop.

The aim of this event is to explore the possibilities of cooperation between Kosovar and Bulgarian businesses in the field of ICT, a sector that has potential in the development and training of young people.
