Prishtina, 08.05.2021 – Yesterday, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Mentor Arifaj, the Head of the Unit for Monitoring Public Companies, Besim Imeri, and the Chief of Cabinet of the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi, met the representatives of “Kosova Thëngjill” J.S.C..

During the meeting, it was discussed about the work of “Kosova Thëngjill” J.S.C., which for some time now is facing great financial difficulties. Agim Grejqevci, Production Chief of “Kosova Thëngjill” J.S.C., on behalf of the employees of this company, said that their request is that “Kosova Thëngjill” J.S.C. returns under KEK, for which yesterday’s protest was organized, although there was a meeting scheduled for yesterday at 13:00 between the Ministry of Economy and representatives of “Kosova Thëngjill” J.S.C..

In the meeting held after the protest, which was previously scheduled for the sole purpose of discussing the issues raised in the protest, Minister Rizvanolli said that this request will be analysed and that, in cooperation with KEK, she will be committed to clarify and address the requests submitted by them.

Meanwhile, the parties agreed to continue contact and communication with each other.
