The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli participated, in the Prespa Forum
Dialogue organized by the Government of North Macedonia.

This forum is a platform created with the aim of
strengthening partnerships and creating long-term relationships between states,
leaders, organizations, and citizens.

Minister Rizvanolli was part of the Economic and
Business panel, which focused on the road to a region with better integration
and cooperation.

During her speech, Minister Rizvanolli stressed that
the Government of Kosovo and the Ministry of Economy highly value regional
cooperation, as a key point in addressing common challenges, assessing that
regional cooperation is important to attract foreign investment.

“However, regional economic cooperation is not enough.
Our region has challenges in terms of workforce skills, investing in education
and training, improving infrastructure and governance. Only by eradicating
corruption, improving the rule of law, democratization and government
accountability, can the countries of the region reach our full economic
potential”, said Rizvanolli.

Minister Rizvanolli added that “the goal of our work
remains to improve the lives of every citizen to ensure that the youth of
Kosovo will not have to travel to Western Europe to create a bright future, but
have all the necessary conditions to do so in their own country”.
