Minister Rizvanolli hosted in a meeting the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip S. Kosnett

Prishtina, 13.04.2021 – The Minister of Economy (ME), Artane Rizvanolli, hosted in a meeting the Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Philip S. Kosnett.

Minister Rizvanolli briefed Ambassador Kosnett on developments in the Ministry of Economy and key priorities, including addressing challenges in the energy sector and improving the performance and accountability of public enterprises.

Among other things, it was also discussed about the diversification of energy resources, regional cooperation in the energy sector, and the review of the energy strategy, where the US has been and remains a key partner of Kosovo.

On his part, Ambassador Kosnett said that he welcomes the inter-institutional cooperation of the Government of Kosovo towards sustainable economic development and pledged the full support of the United States in this regard.
