Prishtina, 01.03.2022 – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo, Artane Rizvanolli, hosted in a meeting the Minister of Public Administration of Montenegro, Tamara Srzentić, together with the representatives of her Cabinet and Ministry.

During the meeting both ministers revealed the work of both ministries in the sector of Information and Communication Technology, Digitalization and the plans of both ministries to advance this sector.

Moreover, the ministers shared the main challenges they face and how they managed to transform these challenges into development opportunities, which in turn enable both states to learn from each other’s best practices.

Given that the regional countries face similar challenges in the field of digitalization, the ministers discussed the concrete possibilities for bilateral cooperation, emphasizing that this sector should experience a rapid advancement applying both the regional and state lens.

Minister Rizvanolli and Minister Srzentić visited together the Innovation Centre of Kosovo (ICK) and Digital School to closely inform the Minister of Montenegro of the work and development of ICT sector at the local level. During the visits, the ministers met also young people working and undergoing training in these centers and discussed their professional and academic skills and needs.
