Minister Rizvanolli had a meeting with the Ambassador of Sweden, Karin Hernmarck

Prishtina, 05.05.2021 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, hosted in a meeting the Ambassador of Sweden to the Republic of Kosovo, Karin Hernmarck, and Nasrin Pourghazian, Deputy Chief of Mission/Head of Development Cooperation.

Ambassador Hernmarck congratulated Minister Rizvanolli on her new role as Minister of Economy and wished her successes in the challenges awaiting the Government during this mandate.

Minister Rizvanolli, on the other hand, expressed her appreciation for the contribution provided by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo through numerous projects, which were unveiled by Ambassador Hernmarck.

In this meeting were discussed in more details the priorities of the Ministry of Economy and areas of particular importance, such as gender equality and sustainable economic development. Together they discussed the possibilities of cooperation in various initiatives of interest for the Kosovo society.

Ambassador Hernmarck highlighted that Sweden is an old ally of Kosovo and will continue to be so for a long time, supporting it on its path towards European Union and wishing a closer cooperation with the new Government, which believes it has the power to make the changes everyone expects.
