Prishtina, 19.01.2021 – Today, the Minister of Economy and Environment (MEE), Muharrem Nitaj, hosted the management of Telecom in a meeting.

During the meeting, Minister Nitaj was informed about the situation in Telecom. It was stated that, despite the fact that this company has started working profitably, the situation remains difficult, since a part of the revenues must be paid monthly to Dardafon, as a debt repayment.

Also, Minister Nitaj was informed that the stability of Telecom’s work could be damaged by the old technology with which it operates and the lack of maintenance of this technique.

The good news is that, after a long time, Telecom has started operating profitably.

At this meeting, the possibility of rescheduling Telecom’s debts to Dradafon and to other companies was requested to be considered, as well as the reduction of expenses so that Telecom functions as a profitable company.
