Minister Lluka called on businesses to get involved in policy-making

Prishtina, 19.04.2019 – Upon the invitation of the German-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, met with domestic businesses to gain insight of their problems and challenges in order to work more towards creating a better climate of doing business.

During this informal meeting, Minister Lluka revealed the work of the ministry that he leads, projects that have been implemented and projects under implementation in the sector of energy, information technology and developments in publicly-owned enterprises.

Business representatives present in this meeting welcomed the country development plan in sectors covered by the Minister Lluka. They also thanked him for the participation, stating that such activities bring the business community closer to the Government of Kosovo.

On the other hand, Minister Lluka stated that he welcomes such meetings and is open for ideas and suggestions on how to improve the business infrastructure.

This meeting was attended even by the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jan-Axel Voss.

In the end, the Director of the German – Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Nora Hasani, informed Minister Lluka of establishment of a group for promoting German investments in Kosovo and sought his support.

On the other hand, Minister of MED, Valdrin Lluka, applauded her idea, and added that he will support this idea by preparing stimulating packages to attract investments in Kosovo.
