Minister Kuçi received in a meeting the Kosovo-Turkey Chamber of Commerce

Prishtina, 22.07.2020 – Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, received today in a meeting the heads of the Kosovo-Turkey Chamber of Commerce, Mr Abdurrahman Balkiz and Mr Esin Muzbeg.

Minister Kuçi welcomed them by informing them in broad terms about the economic situation in the country and the plans of the Kosovo Government to get out of this situation created by COVID-19.

The President of KTCC, Abdurrahman Balkiz, congratulated Minister Kuçi on his position in this government and informed him about the Turkish businesses operating in Kosovo. Among other things, he stressed that the Free Trade Agreement between Turkey and Kosovo has given its effects, but also raised for discussion some issues that need to be improved in order to achieve greater success.

Regarding this, Minister Blerim Kuçi said that they are ready at any time to practically solve any problem or barrier in order to ensure a better development of trade between the two countries.
