Prishtina, 26 August 2020 – Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, has attended the Kosovo Recovery Telecom workshop.

Following the created situation upon blocking of Telecom accounts and their subsequent unblocking, the main request of Minister Kuçi has been to produce some documents that will indicate the status and the future of Telecom.

Hence, today, on 26 August 2020, the “Telecom Recovery” workshop took place, which was organized by this enterprise.

Minister Kuçi in the course of his speech, informed the participants that the required documents must be produced as soon as possible from this workshop.

“I believe that for the goal of this workshop be achieved, in addition to discussions, we must have documents that will include the Business Plan, Telecom Recovery Action Plan and Debt Amortization Plan. This is the basis on which we will continue further working for this enterprise”, said so Minister Kuçi.

At this workshop, the chairman of the Temporary Telecom Board, Mehmet Berisha, and Acting Director of Telecom, Zeqir Kiqina, have spoken regarding the importance of such documents.

Participants were able to hear the presentation on operational and business performance, financial performance with emphasis on revenue and the state of telecommunication systems and platforms.
