Minister Ismajli meets with the new KEK Board of Directors

Prishtina, 07 October 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, accompanied by his associates, held today an introductory meeting with the new Board of Directors the Kosovo Energy Corporation J.S.C. (KEK), headed by Berat Rukiqi.

Minister Ismajli encouraged KEK’s Board of Directors to perform all tasks and responsibilities stipulated in the Law on Public Enterprises and other applicable legislation, on behalf of the shareholder.

For its part, the KEK Board of Directors committed to perform all tasks entrusted by the Government of Kosovo in a responsible manner, in order for this publicly-owned enterprise to fulfill its obligations and provide its services to the best possible extent.

Otherwise, today the handover of duties from the previous Board of Directors to the newly appointed Board of Directors was carried out at KEK’s head offices.
