Minister Ismajli meets the German Deputy-Ambassador in Kosovo

Prishtina, 12 February 2014 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with Deputy Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Mathias Kiesler.

Discussions in the meeting focused on finding possibilities for providing German expert support in fields covered by MED, and for experience exchange between both countries.

Minister Ismajli underlined on this occasion the fact that ‘Trepça’ represents one of Kosovo’s most valuable assets, adding that MED is paying special attention to this sphere.

The head of MED also emphasized that the revitalization of ‘Trepça’ and all its assets will hopefully commence soon.

For his part, the Deputy-Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Mathias Kiesler, expressed the readiness to offer assistance in functionalization and revitalization of ‘Trepça’ and its assets.

The German party also expressed willingness to provide assistance in the sphere of energy.
