Minister Ismajli informs US Ambassador Jacobson on MED priorities

Prishtina, 03 June 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with the Ambassador of United States of America in Prishtina, Tracey Ann Jacobson, to discuss on the recent economic developments in the country and on MED’s priorities for the future.

Minister Ismajli used this occasion to express his gratitude to Ambassador Jacobson for the support US has continuously given Kosovo, especially in the sphere of economy, while informing her on MED’s future orientations.

The Head of MED emphasized that sustainable economic development, respectively energy sector development, will be in the focus of his work, adding that projects under implementation will enjoy special treatment.

The relations between two countries were highly appraised in the meeting, underlining that USA will continue to support Kosovo in the future in all spheres, including energy.
