Prishtina, 10 July 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, and his associates are attending the energy conference held in Frankfurt, Germany on the topic ‘Energy Security – How to Feed and Secure the Global Demand”. The conference is part of the Munich Conference, held annually to address global security considerations.

On the verge of this conference, Minister Ismajli met with energy sphere experts from various European countries. He met with Prof. Dr. Friedbert Pfluger – Director of the European Center for Energy and Security Sources, with whom he discussed on the possibilities and modalities for cooperation with Kosovo.

Minister Ismajli also had a very important meeting with Mr. Naredra Taneja, President of the World Energy Summit. Further, Minister Ismajli also met energy experts from various renowned institutions and associations from the energy sphere, such as EUCERS King College in London, Energy Research Institute, etc.

Noteworthy, the organizer of this conference is Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, former EU mediator in the troika facilitating Kosovo-Serbia talks, with which Minister Ismajli had a very friendly meeting and discussed on Kosovo’s opportunities for expanding its cooperation with German and other companies active in the field of energy.
