Minister Beqaj takes part in the world summit of energy in UAE

Prishtina, 16 janar 2012 – The Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, will travel today to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to take part in the Global Summit on the Future of Energy, held under the patronage of the Emir of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed bin Zayed al Nayhan.

The summit is to be attended by representatives of over 140 countries, including the President of Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, whereas Minister Beqaj will use this opportunity to develop bilateral meetings with counterparts from different countries participating in this event.

Attending the event is also the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, senior UN officials, presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, energy ministers and other senior representatives of different countries worldwide.
