Minister Beqaj met with the EBRD Chief in Kosovo, Anton Kobakov

Prishtina, 27.03.2013 – Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, met today with Anton Kobakov, Chief of European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD), Office in Prishtina.

Topics of discussion in the meeting were developments under the EBRD strategy for Kosovo.

On this occasion, Minister Beqaj presented several important projects, which could be supported by EBRD.

“We are interested to implement projects which are important to Kosovo citizens of Kosovo, such as waste treatment, sewage system, rural infrastructure”, said Minister Beqaj.

Minister Beqaj and Mr. Kobakov also discussed on the EBRD annual meeting, which will be held in May 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey, where Kosovo will participate for the first time as a state, since it gained membership in EBRD.
