Memorandum of cooperation on natural gas

Prishtina, 17 May 2017 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development Gani Koci participated in the inauguration meeting of the working group under the cooperation on natural gas in South East Europe, held in Zagreb.

On this occasion, the working group signed a Memorandum of Understanding for this partnership to develop sustainable institutional capacities for the development and use of common models of natural gas transmission planning.

These models will be used for regional analyses of the internal pipeline infrastructure, interconnection and regional storage capacities required for the gasification process in South East Europe.

The Working Group under the Cooperation on Natural Gas in South East Europe has been established with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Energy Association (USEA), Ministries and South East European Gas Transmission System Operators.
