MEE calls on the Postal Board to cancel the change of salary coefficients

Prishtina, 10.12.2020 – The Ministry of Economy and Environment, through the Publicly-Owned Enterprise Policy and Monitoring Unit, has sent a letter to the Temporary Postal Board of Kosovo, calling on it to cancel the decision to change the salary coefficients.

This action by the Ministry of Economy and Environment has been undertaken as soon as the minutes from the meeting of the Temporary Postal Board of Kosovo, held on 03.12.2020, was received.
Changing salary coefficients at this time, when Kosovo Post is not in good financial condition, is unacceptable and will not be allowed.

Furthermore, the Publicly-Owned Enterprise Policy and Monitoring Unit has previously suggested to this enterprise to reduce the salaries by 30% for senior management positions.
