Prishtina, 29 July 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with the President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gërxhaliu, and the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, Arian Zeka, to discuss on intensifying cooperation with business community associations.

Minister Ismajli said that MED stands open for cooperation and aims, in cooperation with respective Chambers, to develop a guideline on partnerships, in which business community representatives could give a significant contribution.

The head of MED expressed his readiness to organize a meeting with local companies, in order to discuss cooperation and mutual support, as well as to review modalities of engagement of companies in possession of our diaspora in Kosovo.

Among other, Minister Ismajli underlined the need for a comprehensive study on trade activity in Kosovo.

The President of KCC, Safet Gërxhaliu, informed Minister Ismajli on the meetings that the management of the Chamber of Commerce had in Brussels, where possibilities of cooperation with other Chambers and relevant institutions were discussed.
