MED, EU and WB remain committed to the Energy Conference

Prishtina, 17 December 2012 – In reaction to press conference by Kosovo Civil Society Consortium for Sustainable Development (KOSID), the Ministry of Economic Development, EU Office/EUSR, and the World Bank Office wish to confirm that they continue to cooperate closely to resolve outstanding Kosovo A-related issues and prepare the Energy Conference.

All three parties are fully committed and engaged in ensuring that the Energy Conference will be successful, both in substance and its ability to raise donor funds for the energy sector in Kosovo.

A working group chaired by the Ministry for Economic Development and comprising representatives from the World Bank, the European Union Office, and USAID is finalizing the work on background documents for the conference planned for spring 2013.
