MED aims to enhance cooperation with the banking sector

Prishtina, 20.09.2013 – Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismalji, met today with the Deputy Director of ProCredit Bank, Mrs. Eriola Bibolli, with whom he discussed on issues of mutual interest, with special emphasis on the cooperation in campaigns to increase energy efficiency.

Minister Ismajli highlighted the need to enhance mutual cooperation of governmental institutions with the banking sector, with the aim of implementing various projects to the interest of citizens.

Economic Minister stated that there is an open path for cooperation with ProCredit Bank, as a key commercial bank, and discussed with its director on the possibilities for financial support this bank can provide for the implementation of the identified needs and priorities of MED, with a special focus on the energy.

On this occasion, Minister Ismajli highlighted the importance of energy efficiency for our country, as an economy which uses energy efficiently has all the premises of development, lowering the costs of energy, at the same time having an impact on the quality of life and contributing to environment protection.

Interlocutors also discussed on human capital investments, as it has the highest rate of return, as well as the provision of loans for production and generation projects.
