Luxemburg will continue its support for Kosovo

Prishtina, 02.08.2013 – Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with the Chief of the Luxemburg Diplomatic Mission in Kosovo, Pierre Weber, to discuss on current developments in the country, particularly in economy, and the cooperation between the two countries.

On this occasion, Minister Ismajli thanked the Luxembourg diplomat for the great help given to the Kosovo since 1999s and continues to offer in key development sectors to enhance the quality of services for our citizens.

Minister of Economic Development and Diplomat Weber highlighted the need for additional caution in protecting local products, taking into account that there is a series of products produced locally, particularly from projects financed by international institutions.

Minister Ismajli said that as Luxembourg enjoys extensive experience in various areas, it is very important to exchange professional experiences and knowledge in areas relevant to Kosovo and together build the existing human resources, and further strengthen the mutual cooperation.

In addition, projects financed by Luxemburg in vocational education, health, water-supply and investment opportunities in these sectors in the future were presented in the meeting.

From his part, the Chief of the Diplomatic Mission of Luxemburg in Kosovo, Pierre Weber, highlighted the continuous support of his country to Kosovo, with the intent to further expand this cooperation in the future.

It is worth noting that the meeting was conducted entirely in Albanian as Diplomat Weber is fluent in Albanian.
