Lluka: Soon, Fushe Kosova will have 24 hour a day of water supply

Prishtina, 07.06.2018 – Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, announced that with the investments that will soon be made in the water supply network, Fushë Kosova Municipality will have 24 hours of water supply within the year.

Lluka made these comments during his visit to the Municipality of Fushë Kosovë, accompanied by the director of RWC “Prishtina”, Ilir Abdullahu, in his discussion with the Mayor of the Municipality, Burim Berisha, where they discussed about regular water supply for the municipality and overall economic development.

“It’s suprising that we have not had regular supply until now. Fushë Kosova has been overlooked for a symbolic investment amount and we have sat today with the mayor of Fushë Kosovë, the CEO of RWC “Prishtina”, to see how we can solve this problem,” he said.

According to the Minister, within a few weeks a decision will be taken to finance this project and other necessary procedures will be initiated, and by September this project will be realized to ensure the citizens of Fushe Kosova have drinking water 24 hours.

From his part, the Mayor of Fushë Kosovë, Burim Berisha thanked the minister for the commitment and promised that together they will work on solving this problem.

Meanwhile, the director of RWC “Prishtina”, Ilir Abdullahu, said that the reason for not supplying Fushë Kosovë with drinking water was finances and that with this project that would cost 400 thousand euro this problem will be resolved.
