Prishtina, 25.07.2020 – Today, the Minister of Economy and Environment, Blerim Kuçi, together with Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, visited two local companies which are known for export.

The visit started in Ferizaj, in the “Eurometal” company. A meeting was held there with the leader of the company Njazi Musliu who informed the government cabinet about the situation in the company and the difficulties they faced.

From Ferizaj, the second visit continued to Drenas to the factory known for decades, i.e. “Ferronikel”.

The owner Saimir Mane himself hosted the government cabinet at the meeting. He pointed out that many companies of this format in the region have gone bankrupt and are having a lot of difficulties.

Minister Kuçi, similar to Prime Minister Hoti, spoke about the Law on Economic Recovery that has been passed by the government and is now in the proceedings of the Assembly.

“The Law on Economic Recovery contains many aids and facilities for businesses to maintain production capacity and maintain the number of employees. Now, they have been submitted to the Assembly for adoption and we expect the latter to complete its work as soon as possible,” stated Kuçi.
