Kosovo territory hit by an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale

Prishtina, 18 November 2013 – Today, on 18 November 2013, at 14:15, Kosovo territory was hit by an earthquake of 4.8 magnitude in the Richter scale, in the following coordinates: 42.9 latitude and 21.0 longitude.
The epicentre of this earthquake, according to the coordinates, is 30km northwest of Prishtina, respectively in the north-eastern part of Vushtrri, between villages Bozhlan and Vesekorfc.

For the moment there is no information of harm to human life, and material damages are only registered in older buildings of I and II construction categories.
