Italian investors interested to invest in Kosovo

Prishtina, 08.11.2017 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka met today with the Director of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) for Albania and Kosovo, Elisa Scelsa, and her associates. ITA is an agency that promotes internationalization of Italian companies worldwide.

Minister Lluka informed Director Scelsa on MED priorities, stating that investments in strategic sectors like energy, miners, ICT and other sectors, are more than welcome, adding that the Government is dedicated to improving the investment climate.

Discussants reviewed the possibilities for enhancing cooperation with Italian investors, and the Head of MED reemphasized the interest of his institution to ensure that such cooperation is concretized with investments.

To this end, Lluka and Scelsa agreed to host a common business forum on 31 January 2018, which will gather institutional and business stakeholders from Kosovo and Italian investors.
