Prishtina, 04 July 2013 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, visited today the Kosovo Post J.S.C. and Hydro-economic Enterprise Ibër-Lepenci and met with their respective managements, in order to get acquainted with the performance of these publicly-owned enterprises.

During the visit to the Kosovo Post, the Chief Executive Officer of this company, Sejdi Hoxha, informed Minister Ismajli on the current situation in this company, its projects and plans for its further development.

During the visit to Ibër-Lepenc, the head of MED was informed on the work and developments in this public company. The Chief Executive Officer of Ibër-Lepenc, Hajdar Beqa, speaking on the performance of this company, said that Ibër-Lepenc had a positive business performance and managed to accomplish all its aims, while committing for similar engagement in the future.

Minister Ismajli assessed during these meetings that the companies in question should be focused on the further development of their human capacities as a prerequisite for their overall success.

The head of MED expressed the readiness of the institution he heads to support these publicly-owned companies in the implementation of their development projects, emphasizing at the same time that closer cooperation and coordination between MED and the said companies represents a guarantee for faster development, with the overall objective of providing better services to citizens.
