GPC: PTK Privatization followed international standards

Prishtina, 25.06.2013 – Members of the PTK Government Privatization Committee (GPC), took part in a public hearing on the privatization of 75% of PTK shares, organized by the Assembly Committee for Economic Development, Infrastructure, Trade and Industry.

This meeting was organized after the Decision of the Kosovo Government, to submit for review in the Kosovo Assembly the report on the PTK privatization process until the current phase.

The Chairperson and members of GPC provided their explanations on the PTK privatization process, considering that this process is being developed following international standards on similar transactions and applicable laws in the Republic of Kosovo.

The public hearing was also attended by representatives of the British and German Embassy, and Transaction Advisors on the Privatization of PTK, who provided their detailed clarifications on the process and its outcomes.
