Prishtina, 18 March 2014 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with a French delegation comprising Julien Roche, President of the French-Albanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Claude Scheuer, Advisor in Degremont, accompanied by the French Ambassador in Kosovo, Maryse Daviet.

Minister Ismajli informed the French delegation on economic developments in Kosovo, its legal and institutional framework, the business environment provided to foreign investors and projects under development.

Other discussions also focused on mutual cooperation in the sphere of energy, renewable energy sources, minerals and other spheres of common interest.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities for bringing French investors in the discussions regarding concrete projects covered by MED, while reiterating the need for technical assistance and advancement of cooperation with chambers of commerce in Kosovo.

Noteworthy, French company Degremont is specialized in providing solutions for relevant projects in water treatment and other public services for local authorities and various industries.
