EBRD will continue to support developmental projects

Prishtina,
15 October 2014 – Minister of Economic Development Fadil Ismajli met
today with the Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development for Kosovo (EBRD), Anton Kobakov and the newly appointed
EBRD Director for Western Balkans, with which he discussed on the recent
developments in the country.

Minister Ismajli discussed with
senior EBRD officials the funding of common projects in the important
sectors covered by MED, which stimulate economic development, including
energy, renewable energy sources, water, mines, etc.

Ismajli
thanked senior EBRD officials for the support granted to various
sectors, ensuring them that the Government has vested its entire
institutional capacities in the implementation of developmental projects
in the country, which directly improve the lives of its citizens.

On
the other hand, EBRD officials expressed the commitment of this
institution to continue to support MED in spheres of interest not only
for the country’s economic development but also for the development of
its human capacities, through workshops and study visits which should
serve the exchange of experiences in areas of common interest.
