Discussion on the Administrative Instruction on the Establishment of One-Stop-Shops

Prishtina, 03.02.2017 – The Working Group held a workshop today for the Establishment of One-Stop-Shop and the harmonization of legislation on Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in Kosovo, organized by the Project Repower Kosovo USAID, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Besa Zogaj – Gashi, and attended by representatives of institutions, and other stakeholders in this field.

A presentation was made of the Administrative Instruction for the establishment of One-Stop-Shop for RES, drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development, a document to which the parties have submitted their comments.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Besa Zogaj-Gashi said that the working group was committed to achieving the objectives, and added that MED provided comments in drafting the concept paper for the establishment of the One Stop Shop.

“We as a ministry have provided comments, and REpower also provided its comments and when we initiated public discussions we received a comment from the Ministry of Public Administration, related to the harmonization of secondary legislation,” she said.

Repower Project Kosovo assisted MED in drafting the Administrative Instruction for the establishment of ONE STOP SHOP for RES, and assisted the ERO to achieve important progress in amending the existing Regulation on the Support Scheme.

Otherwise, other institutional representatives also provided their contribution to address issues related to the harmonization of legislation on OSS.
