Deputy Minister Arifaj hosted by the Auditor General of the Republic of Kosovo

Prishtina, 07.09.2021 – The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy (ME), Mentor Arifaj, was hosted today in a meeting at the National Audit Office by Vlora Spanca, Auditor General of the Republic of Kosovo.

Deputy Minister Arifaj initially congratulated Mrs. Spanca on her new office as Auditor General of the Republic of Kosovo, wishing her success.

During the joint meeting the topic of discussion was the implementation of compliance audit for public procurement procedures of the Public Enterprise, “Kosovo Energy Corporation” (KEK – Korporata Energjetike e Kosovës) for 2021, as well as the inclusion of financial audit of Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for the plan of next year.

Deputy Minister Arifaj also expressed his interest in continued cooperation in the future with the National Audit Office.

This meeting was also attended by Rrezarta Pllana, Chairwoman of the KEK Board and Besim Imeri, Head of PEPMU.
