Bilfinger Power Systems expressed interest to invest in Kosovo TPPs

Prishtina, 20.06.2013 – Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, and his associates met today with a delegation of Bilfinger Power Systems from Germany, a company involved in constructing and maintaining energy facilities and infrastructure. German Ambassador in Kosovo, Matthias Kiesler, and a representative of the Embassy of the Dutch Kingdom, accompanied the delegation.

Minister Ismajli informed representatives of Bilfinger Power Systems on energy projects and investment opportunities and added that German investors are welcomed in Kosovo, given their experience in this area.

From their part, representatives of Bilfinger Power Systems presented their concrete projects on the possibility of revitalizing TPP Kosovo A units, adjusting them with the country’s energy need and European standards on environment protection.

Bilfinger Power Systems is an engineering and services subgroup involved in developing, constructing and maintaining power plants and infrastructure, industry and energy sector. Numerous German and international companies operate under the Power Systems umbrella.
