Prishtinë, 31 October 2016 – The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, is determined in providing special treatment for the IT technology, by making it as one of the priority fields, declared the Minister of Economic Development Blerand Stavileci in the regular meeting of the Steering Committee for implementation of the Kosovo Strategy on Information Technology.

Prishtina 31/10/2016 – Minister of Economic Development, Blerand Stavileci, reported before the European Integration Commission of the Kosovo Assembly, delivering a presentation on the achievements relating to the National Program on the Implementation of the SAA in terms of economic development and IPA funds.

Prishtina 28/10/2016 – The Information Technology Conference KOSICT, held in Prishtina for the fifth year in a row, brought together representatives of technology and business, who will put this sector at the center of attention for two days. The conference is organized under the auspices of the Head of Parliament of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, with around 50 speakers and over 1 thousand participants.

Prishtina 18/10/2016 - Inter-institutional working group on the establishing of a One Stop Shop for Renewable Sources of Energy held another meeting to present the results of an Analysis of Barriers to investment in the sector, organized by Fichtner company. The OSS for RSE is expected to be in operation next year, as all preparations are done.

Prishtina, 14.10.2016 – In the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Energy Community, which is being held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo, Kosovo took over the chairmanship for 2017.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Besa Zogaj-Gashi, participated at the Final Conference of the project ‘Tempus’ held today in Tirana, financed by EU and facilitated by POLIS University, where she was part of the discussion panel on the project “Development and Adjustment of Professional Programs for Energy Efficiency in the West Balkans.

Prishtinë, 06.10.2016 – The Functional Committee for Economic Development, Infrastructure, Trade and Industry, reviewed today in principle the Draft Law No. L-120 on Trepça and recommended the assembly to avoid the Assembly Rules of Procedure and hold the first review of the Draft Law No. L-120 on Trepça in the Plenary Session of 07.10.2016, recommending its adoption in principle.
