Prishtina, 26.10.2017 – The Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, reached an agreement with the miners of Stantërg Mine to bring the strike they started yesterday to a close, ensuring them that their requests will be addressed by competent institutions within 10 days, hoping to find an acceptable solution for all parties.

Prishtina, 15.10.2017 – The Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, part of the Kosovo delegation comprising the Minister of Finance, and accompanied by the Kosovo Ambassador in USA, Vlora Çitaku, met today with the World Bank’s Vice President for Europe and Asia, Cyril Muller, and World Bank Vice President for Sustainable Development, Laura Tuck, during the recent official visit to the United States.

Prishtina 10.10.2017 – Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, met with the Swiss Ambassador in Kosovo, Jean-Hubert Lebet, with whom he discussed the progress in wastewater treatment projects as well as issues with POE management.

Prishtina, 06.10.2017 – Kosovo’s Government approved today the Kosovo Energy Strategy 2017-2026, presented by Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, who stated that his document aims to create a developed energy sector, which doesn’t damage the environment and health, and supports sustainable economic development and social wellbeing in Kosovo, as part of an open and competitive energy market.
