Prishtina, 13 December 2017 – Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, chaired today the meeting of the Steering Committee for the Thermal Power Plant “Kosova e Re” Project. In this meeting, attended by representatives of American company Contour Global, an agreement on the development of Thermal Power Plant Kosova e Re was reached.
Prishtina, 13.12.2017 – Republic of Kosovo Presidency will host the 15th Energy Community Ministerial Council meeting, to take place tomorrow, December 14, 2017, in Prishtina, which is the most important regional event for the energy sector.
Prishtina 12.11.2017 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka said today that the Information Technology sector comprises one of MED’s priorities, considering it a generator of economic development and noting projects pertaining to ‘digital economy’ which are being implemented in cooperation with the World Bank. To this end, he also presented other financial possibilities for supporting this sector.

Prishtina, 02.12.2017 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka participated in the European Youth Award – EYA, a pan-European competition for European youth, entrepreneurs and innovators who develop digital projects that aim social development, which was held in Graz, Austria, and where he awarded the event’s main prize.
Prishtina, 30.11.2017 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka said today that the conclusion of the Kosova e Re Thermal Power Plant project at the lowest possible cost is one his personal priorities, since the current 1 billion price is unaffordable for the country’s budget.
