Prishtina, 22.01.2019 – Publicly-Owned Enterprise Kosovo Telecom J.S.C. has been facing a severe financial and operational crisis since 2015. In the last three years, annual financial losses of this enterprise vary from 8 to 52 million euros. Beyond the measures taken by the current board of directors and management, the enterprise continues to face financial losses that seriously risk its liquidity.

Prishtina, 20.12.2018 - Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, held a meeting with representatives of bodies responsible for the energy sector in our country, namely the Kosovo Energy Corporation, KEDS, Energy Regulatory Office and KOSTT, where he requested reporting on the energy situation in the country.

Prishtina, 13.12.2018 – In the second and last day of his visit to Japan, Minister Lluka’s visited Tokyo and met with senior state officials to ensure support for various developmental projects, including the Kosova e Re Power Plant project.

Prishtina, 06.12.2018 – The first working meeting on the inception of the drafting process for the National Plan on Energy and Climate 2021-2030. This plan is based on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Energy Community, adopted in January of this year. Kosovo is a contractual party of the Energy Community.

Prishtina, 04.12.2018 – The Ministry of Economic Development today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Swiss government on co-funding and financial oversight of the support program for water supply and sewage systems in rural areas.
