Prishtina, 29.03.2019 - The second meeting of the Working Group for drafting the National Plan on Energy and Climate (NECP) 2021-2030 has been held today. This plan is based on the Recommendation of the Energy Community Ministerial Council, adopted in January 2018, whereby Kosovo is a contracting party of the Energy Community.

Prishtina, 21.03.2019 – The Kosovo Agency on Energy Efficiency today held the second meeting of the Working Team on the Drafting of the National Action Plan on Energy Efficiency (NAPEE), chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of the Kosovo Agency on Energy Efficiency, Mr. Arsim Kuliqi. This meeting was attended by representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of European Integration, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Local Government Administration, Ministry of Health, KUCC, Ministry of Finances, KEC, KOSTT, GFA and GIZ KEEP.

Prishtina, 15.03.2019 - In the course of implementation of the project "Promoting Energy Efficiency at Local Level through Implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures", the Ministry of Economic Development has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipality of Gjakova.

Prishtina, 12.03.2019 – The Minister of Economic Development, hosted in a meeting Qatar’s non-resident Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Ali Bin Hamad Al Marri, with whom he discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation in the sectors covered by MED.

Prishtina 11.03.2019 – Based on the joint interest to coordinate activities related to the energy sector, particularly to promote energy efficiency, the Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Valdrin Lluka, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Mayor of the Municipality of Kamenica, Mr. Qendron Kastrati, aiming to improve public lightning.

Prishtina, 11.03.2019 - Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Valdrin Lluka, hosted today the business delegation from the United States of America, chaired by the Kosovo Consulate in the US, Teuta Sahatqija, with whom he discussed about the information and communication technology (ICT) sector, the energy sector and the climate of doing business in Kosovo.

Prishtina, 01.03.2019 – Students of the Faculty of Electronic and Computer Engineering will be able to engage in paid internships in energy sector institutions represented by the Ministry of Economic Development.

Prishtina, 20.02.2019 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka encouraged women to engage in the energy sector. This was made possible through the program “Women in Energy Scholarship Program”, organized by the Millennium Challenge Corporation – MCC.
