Prishtina, 22.01.2020 - The Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Valdrin Lluka and the Head of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) office in Kosovo, Mr. Gunther Zimmer, have signed the cooperation agreement between the Government of Kosovo and the Austrian Government, called “Market Access and Business Digitalization Services for Kosovo Companies – ACCESS”, which, among others, aims to reduce the poverty in Kosovo.

To honour their contribution to the mining sector, the Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, has awarded certificates of gratitude to personalities from the sector, who have contributed both academically and within the sector.

Prishtina – 10.12.2019 - The University of Minnesota, together with its faculty of business Carlson School of Management, has awarded a prestigious prize to Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka for leadership, called Distinguished Leadership Award for Internationals, awarded to graduate students that have shown special achievements and have helped their developing countries.

Prishtina - 09.12.2019 - The Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, is staying for a visit in Iowa, United States of America (USA) where, along with the President of Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), Rob Denson, signed a cooperation agreement for training and certification of workers in Kosovo in various technical fields such as welder, electrician, builder, machine operator and many more.

Prishtina, 21.11.2019 – Ministry of Economic Development (MED), in cooperation with World Bank's Global Cybersecurity Capacity Building Program II, Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), Global Cybersecurity Center for Development (GCCD), have organized a two-day seminar on Cyber Security under the topic “National Cyber Security Policies and Frameworks”. The seminar was financed by the Korea-World Bank Group Partnership Facility (KWPF), that is administered by the World Bank for Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance”.

Prishtina, 24.09.2019 - Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka has signed a cooperation agreement with International Finance Corporation (IFC), advising the Government of Kosovo on the development of a 50 MW solar power plant.

Prishtina, 23.09.2019 - The outgoing Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, hosted the new French Ambassador Marie-Christine Butel, who was accompanied by the Director of the French Treasury Office, headquartered in Sofia, Florence Dobelle. She was informed of the economic developments in Kosovo, the progress of French projects in Kosovo and the intensification of economic partnership between the two countries.
